GARDENING
SEEDS - You will have to begin prep for planting in Minnesota in February; gathering equipment and starting some seeds as early as the first week of March. If you have seeds buried in the ground (cached), in a waterproof container, for example, you may not be able to get to them in March if the ground is still frozen. The seeds that you plant in the spring have to be out of the buried container - out of the ground - before winter. So, plan ahead. If you cached some seeds this year, they can only be available the next spring planting season - if the container gets dug up by Thanksgiving.
